SUMDOKU MAGAZINE : A little bit jaded with straightforward Su-dokus? Then try Sumdoku featuring Su-dokus with an added twist. Sumdoku is an intriguing Su-doku development where a little mental arithmetic comes into play. You get less 'starter' numbers, sometimes none, but instead we tell you what the numbers in combinations of squares total up to. It's then up to you, using the basic Su-doku rules of numbers one to nine appearing in all verticals, horizontals and 3 x 3 squares, to work out the identity of those individual numbers. Sounds complex when explained but when you see a Sumdoku you'll see it's as devilishly simple as the classic Su-doku.
