My newsagent has been keeping me a copy of airgun world and airgunner for over 6 years and before that i would buy either mag whenever i saw one, the mags are very similar, often reviewing the same air rifle / pistol within the same month, they both have extremly similar content, one of the most annoying things i personally find is the patronising style of some of the columnists, relaying their wisdom to the readership with an assumption that we are all under 12 years old, i understand that all ages have to be catered for but surely a slightly more adult outlook could be found, obvious really when you assume that by the very age to BUY an airgun is now 18, the MAJORITY of the readers must then be adults, i think this style of reporting is at best lazy and at worst condescending, because there are only really two british airgun mags available to us, there is no choice for us and no competition for you, which equates to bad news for everone.
I know this looks like a right old moan but believe it or not there are aspects of the mag that i like and i will continue to subscribe but i still argue that there is potential for real improvement.
