Guitar Techniques reveals new look

Guitar Techniques – the UK’s only dedicated guitar tuition magazine has unveiled its fresh new look and guarantees to appeal to a wider audience of guitarists than ever before.
Since launching in March 1994, Future Publishing’s Guitar Techniques has offered the best tutorials and advice to help guitarists improve their skills and play better. With a fresh new look for 2005, Guitar Techniques will be the voice for a growing band of experienced guitarists, including younger players, who may not have picked up the magazine before.
Retaining its popular mixture of tutorials and content from the world’s greatest players and teachers – the redesigned Guitar Techniques will be the only magazine for the UK’s best guitarists of all ages, backgrounds and playing styles.
The redesign allows Guitar Techniques to introduce a range of new features, including a section called ‘Busk It’- giving guitarists the chance to learn a short sequence from a well-known song. ‘Hot for’ is a new directory of guitar teachers giving players the chance to find an expert in their area. Popular demand from readers has led to the introduction of a theory Q&A, where the UK’s finest players offer their advice to readers of Guitar Techniques.
Guitar Techniques covermounted CD remains jam packed with transcriptions; backing tracks and training tools but will now also feature an exclusive video tutorial. Kicked off in style by top US session guitarist Steve Lukather, formerly of Toto, gives guitarists the chance to learn from the very best.
