The 80A is a medium-blue filter, used to enhance the contrast of things like the cloud belts on Jupiter and the polar ice caps on Saturn.The 25 filter is a deep red filter, a great choice for defining the polar ice caps on Mars. This filter blocks quite a lot of the light that comes through your telescope, so you get the best results from bright objects.The Moon filter is usually one of the first additions to an amateur astronomers' kit.
